Who I am

If you buy from me

Payments are handled by Stripe. I see your name, email, phone number, business name and payment status, never your card details. I use them to deliver your website and to bill you.

If I contacted you about your website

I found your business details in public sources: your own website, OpenStreetMap or a public business listing. I used them to run an automated check of your homepage and to get in touch about it. The check only reads public pages. It doesn't log in anywhere or collect anything about your customers.

What I hold

• Business name, website address, phone number and public business address
• Results of any website check I ran
• A record of when we spoke and what was said

Why I'm allowed to

For customers, to carry out our contract. For limited companies I contact, legitimate interests: offering a relevant service to a business whose website has measurable problems. Where you gave me your email directly, your consent.

Your rights

Ask me to stop contacting you, to show you what I hold, or to delete it. Email hello@samuelbuilds.co.uk and I'll do it the same day, no reason needed. You can also complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.

How long I keep it

Customer records for as long as the law requires for accounts. Prospect records are deleted after 12 months with no contact. If you ask me not to contact you, I keep only your name and contact details on a suppression list so I don't by mistake.

Sharing

I don't sell or share your details. Stripe processes payments and Vercel hosts this site.
