Plain English. If anything here is unclear, ask me before you pay.

The plan

£99 a month, paid by card through Stripe. It covers the design and build of a website of up to five pages, hosting, SSL, backups, security updates, local SEO set-up and small content edits for as long as you're subscribed. Online shops, booking systems and custom apps are not included and are quoted separately.

Minimum term

The first 12 months are a minimum term. After that it's month to month and you can cancel with 30 days' notice by emailing hello@samuelbuilds.co.uk.

The 24-hour promise

Your site will be live within 24 hours of your first payment, once I have your content (logo, photos and the details of your business we agreed, or your go-ahead for me to write and source them). If it isn't, I refund your first month's payment and keep working until it's live.

Small edits

Changes to text, photos, prices, opening hours and similar are included. New pages, new features or a redesign count as new work and I'll tell you the price before starting.

Your domain and content

Your domain is registered in your name and stays yours. Your logo, photos and words stay yours. The design and code are licensed to you for as long as you're subscribed. If you leave after the minimum term, we'll agree a fair one-off price for you to take the site with you.

Cancelling in the first 14 days

If you cancel before I've started work, you get a full refund. Once work has started you agree the build begins straight away, so the 14-day cooling-off refund covers only work not yet done.
